    Just in time for the upcoming Chinese New Year holiday season, ChargEV has turned back on their newly upgraded EV charging locations along the North South Expressway (PLUS). This includes Seremban Northbound, Dengkil Southbound, Pagoh Southbound, Tapah Southbound and Gunung Semanggol Northbound R&Rs. To recap, these locations were formerly AC charge points and they have been upgraded to faster DC chargers which are better suited for long distance EV drivers.

    In conjunction with the opening of Section 2 of the West Coast Expressway (WCE), DC Handal has turned on another EV charger on the new highway network. The Charge Point Operator (CPO) has deployed a new DC Charger at SAE Toll Plaza on WCE, which connects to KESAS highway. WCE’s Section 2 covers a distance of 7.2km between SKVE and SAE, and it will be toll-free for a month from 22nd January to 21st February 2025.

    DC Handal’s EV Charging Hub at Bamboo Hills has just gotten a huge upgrade. The Charge Point Operator (CPO) has added additional two Autel DC Charger units that can deliver fast charging up to 240kW and an extra 22kW AC charge point. This makes Bamboo Hills an appealing EV fast charging hub along DUKE Highway and it is surrounded by a variety of F&B outlets. On site, DC Handal now has a total of 8x DC charge points and 1x AC charge point.
