One summer’s evening in early 2024, as the sun was beginning to set, a handful of women strolled across Sydney’s Moore Park with bows in their hair. While a cloud of bats loudly set off for their nightly flight, hundreds more women adorned in silky ribbons quietly poured off the tram and gently stormed across the grass, gathering in a polite crowd outside the Hordern Pavilion on the other side. To the outside world, it looked like a very nice cult.
