Region IV Area Agency on Aging (AAA) staff routinely collect feedback from those we serve to make sure we’re providing quality care that meets our clients’ needs and preferences. We do that through paper and phone surveys, quarterly meetings of a “Consumer Advisory Council,” and a 24-hour reporting hotline for any concerns clients, staff and care providers may have.

We all have acquaintances. People we met once at a work event or spent an afternoon with while volunteering. Those people we see out at a restaurant and wonder if they remember us. We ask ourselves, “Should we say hi?”An acquaintance of mine, Robert Argue, 63, of St. Joseph, died recently and it affected me more than I expected.
