After some midweek madness in Miami (okay, Fort Lauderdale), the Whitecaps showed no signs of any residual fatigue a few days later, as they continued a dominant start to their MLS season with a 2-1 victory over Real Salt Lake at BC Place on Saturday.

Following their dream start to their NSL campaign just over a week ago at BC Place, the Vancouver Rise were unable to build on that in their second match, as they fell to the Montréal Roses at Swangard Stadium on Sunday. The Halifax Wanderers have continued their strong start to the 2025 CPL season, as they defeated Pacific FC 3-1 in their home opener at Wanderers Grounds on Saturday. For the first time in 2025, the Halifax Wanderers are back at home, as they get set to host Pacific FC at Wanderers Grounds on Saturday. After starting the season with two straight road games, the Wanderers will be ecstatic to be back on their home pitch, having last played there in mid-October. As for Pacific, they face a similar milestone in this game, but in a different way – this marks their first road game of the season after starting 2025 with two matches at Starlight Stadium.
