As part of its Value of Jetties program, the Local Government Association has launched an SA Jetties Community Survey to demonstrate that jetties in regional and metropolitan areas hold a deeper value than simple economic trade.

Monday September 11, 2023 Regional heryl Liebich can remember dropping fake spiders from the dairy cow shed rafters and pranking punters with fake human legs sticking out from under a bull when she slept over at the Royal Adelaide Show as a kid. “We had a few old ladies almost die from heart attacks so we had to stop,” Liebich says with a laugh from the family’s Ayrshire cattle stud in the state’s South East.

Monday September 04, 2023 Regional Port Lincoln’s “Tuna Boat” playground will set set course for a foreign land as part of the Rotary Overseas Recycled Playgrounds initiative. The play equipment at the Andrew Small playground is being removed as part of the Port Lincoln foreshore project. However, one piece of equipment, the ‘Tuna Boat,’ will have a new life when it is relocated to a developing nation as part of an ongoing initiative by Rotary.
