He talked about how what they do will evolve, as it does after every season, but the process doesn’t change much despite his new role. The OC explained that they’ll still be focused on trying to maximize what their players do best — something he admits that he’s already got a good handle on having been with Nick Sirianni his entire tenure in Philly.

Green Bay was the team that initially submitted language to ban the tush push, and after failing to garner enough support in April, they tabled the vote until the owner’s meeting in May.

    The Philadelphia Eagles were back in the building on Tuesday and head coach Nick Sirianni spoke to reporters for the first time since earning a contract extension. “Obviously, very thankful to Mr. [Jeffrey] Lurie for believing in me to hire me four years ago, and that I’m able to continue being the head football coach of this team and just can’t thank him and the organization and Howie [Roseman] enough for everything. What a great owner we have. Like I said, I can’t be more thankful.

I at least appreciate if the NFL is going to give the Eagles a million primetime/national games, that they’re not all night time games — Black Friday and Week 16 Saturday both at 3p is still early enough if you have holiday plans and/or kids who exhaust you…
