Women in Sefton will now benefit from easier access to specialist menopause support delivered by trained GPs in an expansion of a new menopause primary care collaboration pilot. What has happened so far? In 2024, Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust and Liverpool Central Primary Care Network worked together to provide additional menopause clinics to the people of Central Liverpool.

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB) has launched a public consultation on a proposal to stop making gluten free bread and bread mixes available on prescription. These products are sometimes prescribed to individuals who live with coeliac disease, or other diagnosed conditions which mean that people have to follow a gluten free diet. The public consultation takes place between 28 January and 11 March 2025.
