About 13,000 workers went on strike at two Azizi construction sites in Dubai last week, with some throwing stones at cars, The National can reveal. Azizi Developments confirmed the strike action on Thursday at Azizi Venice in Dubai South and Azizi Riviera in MBR City. The situation was brought under control by Dubai Police. Dubai Police and the Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs were both contacted for comment.
