Lambert on team toughness "(it's about players that) go to certain areas, win puck battles, players that are willing to put themselves in shot lanes. Its in all the little things for me." #SeaKraken

Asked about relationship between #Seakraken and PWHL Seattle, Botterill shares that GM Meghan Turner, has already been in communication with Ron Francis talking about building a team, etc.

Lambert has previously coached Eberle, Grubauer, Stephenson and Burakovsky. In talking to them he said know he is straightforward, demanding but fair..."they are aware of the detail we will play with and are excited about it." #SeaKraken

Lambert on balancing defense and offense: “Defense is about getting the puck back – the faster you can get the puck back it turns into a transition game. We’ll be strong defensively and structurally but we will also create offense and play fast.” #SeaKraken
