Ambulance trusts pulled out all the stops last month to deliver a category 2 performance of 28m 34s - the best since August. It pulled the year's performance down to 35m 22s - a minute and a seocnd better than last year but still way above the gov's 30m target (real target 18m).

There will be many points of conflict as the NHS changes but I wonder whether this one will be prominent? Wholly owned subsidiaries typically employ some of the poorest paid staff in the NHS and often offer new starters even lower pay and pensions. https://t.co/nHTzqKqfpO
