I need to start by acknowledging I shamelessly stole this idea from past guest of the show Jenny Mollen, who is a hilarious writer. She detailed all her meds and I COULD NOT read it fast enough. Like when celebrities talk about what they carry in their purse. Or which household products they use every day. It was like that, but for meds. I’ve always been intrigued with the notion of a palimpsest. I first heard the term in college. It refers to a written document where writing has been written on top of the original writing but bits of the original still show through. I will find the real definition: a very oldtext or document in which writing has been removed and covered or replaced by new writingIt also means: something such as a work of art that has many levels of meaning, types of style, etc.

I am obsessed with Severance. I haven’t been this into a show in a long time. I have a fascination with The Morning Show and I find myself eager to watch it even though it’s very soapy but this is different. This might be the best show I’ve ever seen. It’s so good that I’m not even enjoying White Lotus, which I usually love. White Lotus is just NOT SEVERANCE to me and Severance is all I want to think about. I”m so obsessed that I’m deep in the world of fan theories. Reading them brings me no joy.
