It is the first Saturday of the month, which means the Gallery Hop is back in the Short North. It is an open streets event with portions of High Street closed to traffic. This will be the largest pedestrian-only experience in Central Ohio. You can see art exhibits, street performers, and various vendors. This is the 40th anniversary of the Gallery Hop, and just last week, Tom and Sef talked to Betsy Pandora with the Short North Alliance about what makes this area special.

The track and field events at the Summer Games in Paris are kicking off today, and one Central Ohio native is ready to make her mark on the international stage. Annette Echikunwoke, the U.S. Hammer Throw Champion from Pickerington, is aiming to bring home the gold for Team USA. “This is really where it all started for me,” Echikunwoke shared. “First, Lakeview Junior High then Pickerington North High School is where I really blossomed into the beginning steps of an athlete.

Happening today—Westerville will be hosting its third annual Juneteenth celebration, hosted by We Rise for Greater Westerville. The event will take place at The Point, located at Otterbein University. There will be live music and performances from local artists such as Candice Flows. You can also visit local vendors, enjoy a funnel cake station, and relax with 'Whole Lee Yoga'. The event kicks off today at 12 noon.
