Where’s the best place in Cork to go for a breakfast, light lunch or sweet treat, a friendly, locally owned and run cafe where you won’t have to pay over the odds and the food always hits the spot? Cork City is blessed with some great places to eat that offer a wide variety of foods, from the classic breakfasts and good feeds offered by the likes of Tony’s Bistro to eastern European fare in Coffee Scape or even American style bagels at 5 Points on McCurtain Street.

We were there for the biggest sporting moments, including Northern Ireland's remarkable appearance at the Euros in 2016 while we didn't miss a beat during Rory McIlroy and Carl Frampton's achievements at the top of their respective sports.
