I always imagined breastfeeding my babies; with the caveats of: if I was able to, if I enjoyed it, and if it worked for my lifestyle and mental health. Wanting to breastfeed is the main reason I chose not to get genetic testing back in May 2013 when I learned the BRCA 1 mutation ran in my family.
