Background and Aim Celiac disease (CeD) has now become a global disease with a worldwide prevalence of 0.67%. Despite being a common disease, CeD is often not diagnosed and there is a significant delay in its diagnosis. We reviewed the impact of the delay in the diagnosis on the severity of manifestations of CeD. Methods We reviewed clinical records of 726 consecutive patients with CeD from the Celiac Clinic database and the National Celiac Disease Consortium database.

The benchmark BSE Sensex trimmed initial gains and fell by 9 points in late morning trade, dragged down by FMCG sectors, while fresh selling was seen in IT, consumer durables, teck and refineries sectors. However, buying interest after a fall in previous three sessions was seen in banks, pharma and metal sectors support the index initially. Industrial production (IIP) numbers for May are slated to be released later in the day.

The Union Public Service Commission, told the Railway Ministry to conduct the Special Class Railway Apprentice Examination (SCRA). Earlier the examination was a part of UPSC curriculum. According to the letter from UPSC Secretary Ashim Khurana to Railway Board Member (Staff) Pradeep Kumar, which stated,”The Commission may not be inclined to continue with the examination unless full and proper justification is forthcoming from the Railway Ministry for such continuance”.
