WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. — The No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura captured Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of the The Glen when the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac was forced to pit on the final lap for energy. It was the second victory in a row for Meyer Shank, whose No. 93 Acura won at Detroit on May 31. The dramatic finish capped off an eventful day that saw multiple leaders, early-race rains and 10 full-course cautions.

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. — There was no late-race drama in the GTD Pro class of Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, as the No. 48 Paul Miller Racing BMW led the final 35 laps on the way to the class win. It was a completely different story in GTD, as the class-leading No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus ran out of energy on the final lap of the race, allowing the No. 27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin to scoot by and take the checkered flag.

LE MANS, France — IMSA teams competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans over the weekend had mixed results. The teams fared well in LMP2, with the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring winners, Inter Europol Competition, taking the checkered flag in France and AO Racing placing third. It was a different story in Hypercar and LMGT3, however, as both the No. 101 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing and No. 311 Whelen Cadillac were forced to retire. The two were the only Hypercars not to finish the race.
