picoCTF, a cybersecurity Capture The Flag (CTF) competition created and run by Carnegie Mellon University's CyLab Security and Privacy Institute in 2013, is now the largest high school hacking competition in the world. In its first year, the program saw participation from approximately 6,600 students and teachers and saw increased enrollment in the years which followed.
