Police are continuing to check in/around Senate office buildings after a "concerning 9-1-1 call" came in "for a possible active shooter." At this time -- no shots have been reported in the area. Senate office buildings are still on lockdown.

Secret Service officers were trying to stop a driver with an expired registration when that driver fled & ran a red light, hitting multiple people in the crosswalk at 17th and Constitution Ave NW. One person who was hit died. The suspect hasn't been arrested, per Secret Service
