A little fawn was stranded on a cliff at the Nehalem River on Sunday, with hungry coyotes circling below - but the day was saved thanks to two TCSO crewmembers! The Tillamook County Sheriff's Office says that on June 9 Marine Deputy Dennis Greiner and Marine Cadet Brodie Cloud launched a boat on the Nehalem to retrieve a canoe from a June 6 incident. While navigating the water they saw two coyotes on an island interested in something on the other side of the river.
