Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co.—two luxury retailers that have long distinguished Edina’s Galleria as the preeminent destination for exclusive shopping in the Twin Cities—are following many of the shopping center’s top nationals across the street to Southdale. Signage for both brands went up Friday on the exterior of Southdale’s under-construction luxury wing—facing Galleria, which brought them to town.

Change is on the menu for Wayzata-based salad chain Crisp & Green. Founder Steele Smiley is back in the CEO role two years after stepping away. He’s buying up franchises to regain consistency as he plans to move the restaurants beyond salads. “The real opportunity in the fast casual space isn’t just more salads—it’s creating better access to health-forward food all day long, in a way that feels elevated, energizing, and approachable,” Smiley said in an email interview this week.

Construction on the north side of the Galleria is complete, but it will be a few months before the newly designed center section of the Edina shopping center is fully revealed. The two-level anchor spot that was long home to Gabbert’s–Galleria’s original anchor—has been totally gutted and reconfigured to house a 25,000-square-foot Arhaus showroom and Sweet Paris Creperie, both slated to open in the fall.
