Henry Bear’s Park, a children’s toy store in Cambridge, will shut down a location in Porter Square at the end of this month and reopen in a long-empty new location a block away, a move driven by rising rent prices, staff said. The toy store will move from 17 White St. to a home just two blocks over on 1957 Massachusetts Ave. The store will close a week before the big move, on April 30.

An 83-year-old woman who went missing Thursday morning was found dead later in the afternoon, authorities said. The unnamed woman was first reported missing this morning after a neighbor requested a welfare check, according to the Middleborough Police Department. Authorities from several departments searched the area. A police dog found the woman’s body in the woods in a shallow body of water, according to the department. Foul play isn’t immediately suspected.

A New Jersey man, who was wanted on a warrant charging him with attempted murder, was arrested Tuesday in Beverly, authorities said. Andrew Arias-Peguero, 54, was arrested on four warrants out of Lynn District Court and was charged with being a fugitive from justice due to a warrant out of New Jersey, according to the Beverly Police Department. John Foley III, Arias-Peguero’s court-appointed attorney, did not speak with MassLive on the case.

The Cannabis Control Commission failed to collect about $550,000 in prorated license fees and up to $1.2 million in potential provisional licensing fees between August 2022 and August 2024, according to a state investigation. The Office of the Inspector General sent a letter Thursday advising the commission’s leadership to conduct an audit to confirm all licensees paid their applicable fees. The Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) did not immediately respond to Masslive’s request for comment.
