Alyane Almeida de Araujo and Sarah Marusek would like to thank the many impressive researchers who answered the call for this Special Edition, “Law and Gender Issues”. This prolific group of researchers hails from the most varied places throughout the world. This breadth of representation unequivocally demonstrates that, despite being recent in the history of research in law, the category “Law and Gender” is already a well-established category of judicial analysis in multiple sites and locations.
