This American heard so much about downtown New York City growing up, but never downtown Los Angeles. Even though I was raised only across a desert from DTLA. And not just not when growing up, but only when I moved to LA at 34, seeing it in-person, was when I first saw DTLA. And that’s insane, because DTLA is astounding. In the best way. Even though I’ve been in LA for 2 years & 3 months now, I remain impressed by it. I even took a video of it two days ago.

The legislation would make it so CHIP and Obamacare plans would longer need to cover gender-affirming care — and Medicaid plans wouldn’t. That includes both minors & adults.

The NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers have been dealt terrible injury blows. They didn’t have one of their stars, Darius Garland (an all-star), in their second-round Game 1 loss. They didn’t have Garland or fellow stars Evan Mobley (also an all-star) or De’Andre Hunter for their Game 2 loss. The Cavs now trial the Indiana Pacers 2–0 in a best-of-seven series. The Boston Celtics also have been dealt a bad injury blow given lost time from one of their stars, Kristaps Porziņģis (another all-star).
