Where there are fun characters with fun dynamics, there will always be shipping. And that's totally okay! As One Punch Man's protagonist, Saitama is a shockingly enigmatic figure. Unlike anime characters like Goku or Yusuke, there are a lot of mysteries surrounding Saitama and even those closest to him in the plot, like Genos, don't have an entirely clear picture of who he is or where he's been as a person. Saitama also doesn't seem overly interested in sharing too details about himself or his life.

Summary Whatever happens to Deku at the end of My Hero Academia will change the whole world. Deku's goal challenges utilitarianism and represents defiance against determinism in society. Saving Shigaraki shifts MHA's philosophical narrative, questioning the value society places on individuals. Coming to the end of any journey is often bittersweet, especially when it's a journey that has been enjoyed for a pretty long time. Endings, however, often carry with them their own set of implications.
