I can't tell you how excited I was to have the 2025 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club RF for a week! Even though I just got formally acquainted with the Miata last year (and yes, I said the Miata was a winner, winner, chicken dinner), I feel like we are old friends already. We spent our days on the city streets and even drove on Alligator Alley for a quick trip and some highway testing. We drove with the top down and the air conditioning blasting, as well as with the top up and the air conditioning blasting.

The 1988 ECD Classic Land Rover Defender 110 ST hails from Kissimmee, Florida, where ECD Automotive Design brought it into the modern times with some nicely executed upgrades. This Defender, nicknamed Project Dorset, is part of the company’s new County Collection, inspired by the UK’s most iconic counties. We took it out in Naples, Florida, to track down some alligators. Not only did it enable us to see alligators, but we also saw a donkey. Don’t worry, he wasn’t near the alligator.
