    Back in February, Bloc Party announced a tour celebrating 20 years of their 2005 debut album Silent Alarm, with support from Metric. Shows begin in May, but they’ll be without Metric, who have now dropped off the tour. Metric write:We are so sorry to come to you all with some disappointing news. Reluctantly, we are withdrawing from the upcoming tour with Bloc Party.

    The Mars Volta‘s fiery, psychedelic new album Lucro sucio; los ojos del vacío is out now (read our review), and now that they’ve wrapped up their tour supporting Deftones, they’ve announced new fall headlining shows. They run from October through November in North America, and you can see all dates below. The tour includes an NYC show at Brooklyn Paramount on November 9. Tickets to all dates go on sale Friday, April 18 at 10 AM local, with various presales starting Monday, April 14 at 10 AM local.

    Experimental post-hardcore supergroup The Sound of Animals Fighting (featuring Anthony Green, members of RX Bandits and more) returned in 2022 with Apeshit, their first EP in 14 years, and now they’ve announced a fall tour. These will be their first shows since 2023, and they’ve lined up some killer support from This Will Destroy You and The Casket Lottery, plus Hard Chiller and Soft Blue Shimmer joining them for select shows.     Lana Del Rey‘s highly anticipated new country album The Right Person Will Stay has largely been a mystery so far, but a month ahead of its scheduled release in May, she’s given us the first preview with “Henry, come on.” The moody ballad has a little twang and nods heavily to western iconography — “soft leather, blue jeans” and “go on and giddy up” included — and sits atop pretty, cinematic strings. She wrote it with country songwriter Luke Laird, and you can hear it below.
