Hot, steamy showers are one of my favorite modern-day inventions. In the old days, you used to heat water over a fire before dumping it into a tub. And although the clawfoot tubs never should have gone away, standing in a shower surrounded by steam is the best. One of the few downsides of a hot shower is the condensation it produces. My bathroom has no windows, or unfortunately, a functioning ventilation fan. But moisture buildup is normal even in bathrooms with good ventilation and windows.
