Stress is a pervasive challenge in the lives of college students, with women experiencing higher stress levels than men. This study investigates the unique stress experiences of college women, particularly in the context of sexual stress. Using affection exchange theory (AET; Floyd, 2002) as a theoretical framework, trait affection and emotional intelligence are examined as predictors of sexual stress.
