    By AMANDA VINCENTSunday’s Wurth 500 at Texas Motor Speedway will be Drew Blickensderfer’s 500th race as a NASCAR Cup Series crew chief. This season, Blickensderfer is the crew chief for Noah Gragson on the No. 4 Front Row Motorsports Ford team. Blickensderfer is a four-time winner at the Cup level, the first two of those wins coming with Matt Kenseth and Roush Fenway Racing in his first two races as a Cup crew chief — the Daytona 500 and at California Speedway in Fontana in 2009.

    By AMANDA VINCENTSecond-year NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Jesse Love will make his second-career NASCAR Cup Series start Sunday in the Wurth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. This time around Love will be behind the wheel of the No. 62 Beard Motorsports Chevrolet. He’ll start 35th out of 38 cars. Love, who drives for Richard Childress Racing in the Xfinity Series, made his Cup debut three weeks ago at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway from behind the wheel of the No. 33 Chevrolet, a part-time RCR entry.

    By AMANDA VINCENTErik Jones, driver of the No. 43 Legacy Motor Club Toyota, will make his 300th-career NASCAR Cup Series start Sunday in the Wurth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. He will start the race from the 14th position. “I wanted to get to the Cup level but was never sure the odds at that or the opportunities I would have,” Jones said recently.
