By AMANDA VINCENTRyan Blaney claimed his 14th-career NASCAR Cup Series win, but first of 2025, Saturday night in the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville (Va.) Superspeedway. Blaney also led a race-high 139 laps of the 300-lap race, most of those laps-led coming in the second half of the race. “I never gave up hope; that’s for sure,” Blaney said of getting a win this year. “We’ve had great speed all year; just hasn’t really been the best year for us as far as good fortune. By AMANDA VINCENTNAACAR believes A.J. Allmendinger’s No. 16 Kaulig Racing team adjusted the splitter on the car after it went through inspection at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway on Saturday. As a result, driver and team are facing weekend penalties. They were docked 10 minutes of practice time Saturday, and car chief Jaron Antley was ejected for the remainder of the race weekend and had his hard card revoked.

By AMANDA VINCENTChase Briscoe recorded a 29.125-second/164.395 mph lap during NASCAR Cup Series qualifying at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway on Saturday to claim the pole for Sunday’s Cracker Barrel 400. It’s Briscoe’s second-consecutive pole, adding to his first starting spot a week earlier in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway, and his third pole of the season. “Just need to put a Sunday together now,” Briscoe said.
