Most RTC patients first sought care from nearby health facilities. The rural RTC cases first visited the UpHCs. On the other hand, people living in urban areas or those who experienced road traffic accidents in urban areas outside Dhaka first visited the district/general hospitals or private facilities. Findings revealed a lack of trauma care services in the emergency or inpatient facilities, including the absence of any triage facility on arrival of the RTC patients.
