The abrupt move, which took place on March 25, has sparked fears the iconic business may close for good. GAK, which stands for Guitar, Amp and Keyboard, is a musical instrument and equipment retailer, operating in three Brighton stores and online. It has been staple of the music scene since its inception in 1992 - and usually operates seven days a week.

    THE M25 has ground to a halt after a car suddenly burst into flames, sparking hour-long delays and six-mile queues. Two anti-clockwise lanes were closed between junction 19 (Leatherhead) and J8 (Reigate) following the blaze in Surrey. Drivers were initially warned of delays lasting nearly an hour. All lanes have since reopened - but motorists are still facing standstills of half an hour. Queues are reportedly winding back six miles from the accident.

    KING Charles has been seen for the first time since being taken to hospital for side effects of his cancer treatment. The 76-year-old waved at well-wishers as he left Clarence House in London in a car this morning. He was taken to hospital yesterday afternoon after suffering side effects from his cancer treatment. Buckingham Palace confirmed Charles experienced "temporary side effects" from hiscancer treatment, and he has now pulled out of a string of engagements set for Friday.

    A MAJOR motorway has closed near an airport after a "multi-car crash" - as drivers face long delays. The M1 is closed in the northbound direction between J11 (Luton) and J11a (Houghton Regis) following the horror crash near Luton Airport, Bedfordshire. It involved two trucks, a van and three cars, said Inrix. Cops and ambulance services are attending the scene, along with National Highways Traffic Officers.
