To welcome the holiday season, Harbor Holidays is set to return to Marblehead this weekend. Beginning this Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and ending on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this free event will be open to the public on both days. Each year, approximately 23 artisans gather at the venue, offering arts, crafts, and holiday gifts. A cash bar will be available, as well as a raffle from Making Ends Meet and an opportunity to raise money for the SPUR Winter Cheer Drive.

The 2024 Marblehead Farmers Market wraps up this weekend, marking the end of another successful season. Founded in 1997, the market runs from early summer through the Thanksgiving season. On Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Seaside Park, the Marblehead Police and Fire departments will partner with Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island for the Heroes for Hope campaign, hosting a 64-team cornhole tournament. Custom cornhole boards have been created and donated to Make-A-Wish by HEYDUDE. All proceeds from the tournament will support Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island’s mission to create life-changing wishes for local children with critical illnesses.

More than 70 members of the Marblehead Education Association attended a negotiation session with the School Committee last night, emphasizing the urgent need for meaningful contract negotiations. The Marblehead School of Ballet’s celebration of National Arts and Humanities Month will culminate with its “Fall: In-Studio Performance” on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 2 to 3 p.m. at 115 Pleasant St. in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
