Amy’s proud of how her kids are growing up! Her son is getting baptized on Sunday and it’s making her emotional with how far he’s come. Her daughter also got a new job as a hostess for the school year! Over the summer, she worked at her first real job and made a lot of sacrifices for it like not being able to go to Colorado with her brother and dad for two weeks because she had to stay back and work. Now she has a job that she can work doing the school year at night and weekends as a hostess.

Amy is on the dating app, Hinge, and is starting to date again!  She is using the Hinge app because she’s heard it’s the most normal dating app with a better quality of people. Her goal on the app is to meet someone to date. She admitted it feels weird because the last time she dated was when she was in her 20s. The weirdest part for her is the first interaction and seeing what they have on their profiles, especially if they have voice recordings on there.

Amy can no longer trust her son because he sold her out to a door-to-door salesperson. There was no denying they were home so someone had to answer the door and he volunteered. She told him to let the salesperson know that she was not available, and they were not interested. When the salesperson asked if his parents were home, Amy heard him say that she was there and then called for her to come outside.

Amy shared some life hacks with The Bobby Bones Show in regards to cooking burgers and a favorite pair of jeans. Whenever you are cooking a burger, she said you should place an ice cube inside the burger as it's placed on the grill. The cook the burger as desired. If you do this, it will make the burger more juicy and delicious.

Amy's daughter and her friends have been participating in a strange game that happens at any given time. The game is called "Assassin" and it's been around for decades. However, thanks to social media it's gaining popularity again amongst high schoolers. It consists of teens using water guns to spray other students, kicking them out of the game and often times it's played outside of school. Amy shared her daughter just up and left the other day, saying she would be right back.
