    We caught up with Static ahead of their appearance at Clyde Chorus on Friday 30th May at SWG3 Warehouse... For any new fans, can you tell us a bit more about Static? We’re a five-piece band from Falkirk. Most of us met at school as we were in the same circle of friends—except Bally, who joined the mix after we met him at a house party and bonded over music, gigs, and wanting to be a part of it all. We clicked straight away and have been best pals ever since.

Without giving too much away, we’ve really dug deep for this album. We’ve pushed the production as much as we can, but still kept it honest and true to us. Lock In is a wee bit different to what we've done before, it's heavier and weirder. Who have been your biggest inspirations for the EP? There's a song on the EP that's based on an Irvine Welsh story so probably him. Is there a dream venue you’ve always wanted to play?
