Athletic shorts are this year’s boxer shorts. Allow me to explain. Over the last few summers, boxer-style shorts took the wearable fashion trends by storm. Love it or hate it, women were out in the masses rocking cutie little printed soft shorts with whatever the heck on top and feeling comfortable as all get out. For me, I loved it. I even wrote articles about it. Because no matter what you feel about how they look, you can’t argue how gosh dang comfortable they feel.

I think every year I find a pant and declare it something like The Pant of The Summer. I’m sure it sounds dramatic, but it’s a helpful glimpse into how I like to dress – as easy, and as repetitive as possible. NOT in an outfit formula sense (my creative soul just shivered in fear), but more with the idea of consuming less and giving the most life to the pieces I buy as I can.
