Yeshivat Noam hosted a fun-filled summer outing this week with 120 golfers playing on the beautiful course at Edgewood Country Club. The outing, chaired by returning parent volunteers Noam Insler, Shlomo Hagler and Akiva Romanoff, was a memorable day of golf, socializing, eating and enjoyment.

In celebration of its 23rd year, Yeshivat Noam in Paramus is inviting the community to attend the annual dinner on Tuesday evening, April 9. The event is a celebration of the school’s accomplishments, an opportunity to recognize deserving honorees and a fundraiser for essential funds. The money raised will be directed to support scholarship students and fund educational excellence. The theme of the dinner is Kol Yisrael Arayvim Zeh Bazeh, כל ישראל ערבים זה בזה.

I was born in 1975 and am solidly, proudly Gen X. Now that folks in my generation have children and determined we wanted them to have a different kind of growing-up experience than we did, we started to work on ourselves. The world our children (in Gen Z and Alpha) are growing up in is wildly different than ours. Not completely, but in significant ways. The way I was raised will not work. I have had to learn tools that help me and my kids navigate this complex and nuanced global world.
