1. IntroductionForest fires are a recurring problem in Brazil, with 222,798 fire spots recorded nationwide in 2020 [1]. These wildfires significantly impact the ecosystem, infrastructure, and population. The Brazilian biomes host a rich biodiversity that can be partially lost due to these fires. Amazon forest fires substantially affect air quality and public health [2]. The quality and quantity of water can also be affected if the fires reach the vegetation around watersheds.
