A new ruling from the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom declared that a U.K. citizen’s legal sex should not be recognized based on gender identity, but sex assigned at birth. Thus, it appears “trans women will legally be classed as ‘male,’ trans men as ‘female,’ and nonbinary people as their birth-assigned sex” in the U.K., Them’s Samantha Riedel reported.

I’ve been keeping a close eye on Combat Cat Studio’s latest release. This indie team’s first title just hit Steam Early Access, and it offers something relatively rare in the shooter genre: Furries. More specifically, tacticool furries shooting at each other. Some of which look very sexy. Five seconds into the game’s cinematic trailer, and my interest was piqued. Yours might be too, especially after you learn the game is well liked on SteamWild Assault minces no words.

It’s been half a decade since the game blew up, and I’m still an enormous fan of Among Us. A social deduction game where you get to sabotage your friends and pick them off one by one? For some reason, I just can’t get enough. There have been plenty of games building off Among Us’ formula as, like Lockdown Protocol (which is Among Us in 3D with guns) and Death Note Killer Within (which slams Among Us and Death Note together with various appropriate roles).

They created a game based around this entire premise years ago. It’s one of my favorite beat-’em-up games ever, actually. And now you can play it for free. I would not be a PC gamer without Team Fortress 2. Valve launched the game in 2007 after years of tortured development, and overnight, this cartoonish class-based shooter became one of the most popular multiplayer games ever made. I played TF2 religiously as a teen, even though my family’s laptop couldn’t handle the game. Our Gateway’s integrated GPU was so underpowered that the game incorrectly rendered everything way too bright — and at a framerate in the teens, no less.
