ADNOC has announced the signing of a 15-year sales and purchase agreement with Mitsui & Co on its LinkedIn. The SPA is for the delivery of up to 0.6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of lower-carbon LNG from ADNOC’s Ruwais LNG project. This marks the fifth long-term LNG SPA for Ruwais LNG and further reinforces ADNOC’s commitment to Japan’s energy security and the supply of cleaner energy worldwide.

NextDecade Corporation and TotalEnergies have joined together in a sale and purchase agreement (SPA) for LNG offtake from Train 4 at the Rio Grande LNG Facility, Texas, USA. Under the terms of the SPA, TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America, Inc. will purchase 1.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG for 20 years on a free-on-board basis at a price indexed to Henry Hub, subject to a positive Final Investment Decision (FID) on Train 4.

Royal Vopak announces the signing of Note Purchase Agreements for a debt issuance in the US Private Placement (USPP) market for a total amount of $325 million and €260 million (equivalent to around €560 million total). Neste, the world’s leading producer of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), has started producing SAF at its renewable products refinery in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The refinery has been modified to enable Neste to produce up to 500,000 tonnes of SAF per annum. As a result, Neste’s global SAF production capability has increased to 1.5 million tonnes (around 1.875 billion litres) per annum.

Snam has agreed to acquire Abu Dhabi’s Infinity Investments’ 24.99% stake in the share capital of Vier Gas Holding (VGH) – a Luxembourg-based company, which indirectly owns the entire share capital of Open Grid Europe (OGE) – for an equity value of €920 million. OGE is Germany’s largest independent gas transmission operator, managing a network extending for approximately 12,000 km, with an annual off-take volume of approximately 21 billion m3 (bcm) and more than 400 end-customers.
