"We will achieve this in two to three years," Rabe said in a media call, adding the timing depended largely on developments in Germany's challenged economy, which heavily correlate with TV advertising growth.

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - German flavour and fragrance maker Symrise on Thursday reported a clear slowdown in its fourth quarter organic growth, missing market expectations, in a sign of sales normalisation after a period of strong growth especially in its scents unit. Symrise, whose fragrances go into the perfumes of French luxury giants LVMH and Kering, said organic sales grew only 1% in the final quarter of 2024, compared with 9.5% growth a year earlier.

(Reuters) -Lindt & Spruengli lifted 2024 margin estimate and forecast further sales growth for 2025 on Tuesday, after reporting 7.8% organic growth for last year in a sign that price hikes have not deterred shoppers from splurging on chocolates. The Swiss chocolate maker, which has been hiking its selling prices to pass record-high cocoa costs on to customers, said it expected to raise them further in 2025.

Production falls 1.0% vs forecast rise of 1.2% Energy production dropped 8.9% Industrial economy in downturn, says ministry BERLIN, Dec 6 (Reuters) - German industrial production unexpectedly fell in October, owing mainly to declines in energy production and in the automotive industry, the federal statistics office said on Friday. Production was down by 1.0% in October from the previous month, the office said.
