1 INTRODUCTION As-is model representations of built facilities are of great value for numerous applications in architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO). Owners, operators, and planners rely on them for their purposes in the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM) (Borrmann et al., 2018).
