If BBC were to give Ireland an exemption from the worldwide blocking of BBC Sounds outside the U.K. it might save itself a lot of hassle. I’m not sure the decision makers have thought this through.

Blocking BBC Sounds outside the UK will have a big impact on those living in Ireland who use it to listen to Radio Ulster and other BBC content south of the border.
