Photo: Department of Homeland Security The Department of Homeland Security announced on Monday that 64 people “self-deported” on a government-chartered flight this week as part of a new program in which immigrants are paid a $1,000 stipend to voluntarily leave the U.S. At least 19 of the passengers were children — including four minors who are American citizens and whose family members were without legal status, CNN reported.

Photo: Eric Gay/AP Texas lawmakers, apparently not content with having one of the strictest abortion bans in the nation, are currently considering the most sweeping anti-abortion bill they’ve drawn up in years — one that could offer a road map to other conservative legislators who want to create new penalties for providers, care networks, and, potentially, abortion seekers themselves. The Lone Star State already bans all abortions except in instances of narrowly defined medical emergencies.

According to USA Today, she is expected to be called to the stand after Combs’s former partner Cassie — whose legal name is Casandra Ventura — finishes her testimony, during which she has spoken about the physical abuse she says she experienced at the hands of the music mogul.
