1. IntroductionGrowth faltering, including impaired childhood linear growth and pubertal delay, is a common co-morbidity among adolescents with perinatally acquired HIV [1]. HIV can impair the adolescent growth spurt, including delaying its onset and reducing linear growth velocity [2].
