While the Cooper interview is extensively covered here, this essay provides invaluable links to important sources. We have supplemented the author’s links by footnoting his many Churchill quotations. Recently, Tucker Carlson hosted the podcaster-cum-historian Darryl Cooper on his show.

Winston Churchill’s relationship with India is certainly the most controversial aspect of his life. Political activists frequently spew conspiratorial accusations of genocide and imperial hatred, with some figures—like the Indian Politician Shashi Tharoor—going as far as comparing the British statesman to the likes of “Hitler, Mao and Stalin.” The commonality between these activists and politicians is an evident refusal to read primary sources.

RT @ChagosDeal: The price of the Chagos 'deal' is 22% greater than the entire public debt of Mauritius.

You’re right. I don’t think the monarchy is ‘ok.’ I think it’s glorious. On the matter of poverty, I’m pretty sure the £4+ billion the Crown Estate has given the treasury in the past decade is far more than what you or I ever will give.

People who think this is OK, have lost their minds. This is just ridiculous and embarrassing. Especially when the number of people living un the streets keeps growing and others are choosing between rent and groceries. https://t.co/f4TSOEziPC

Last night, when intoxicated, I converted an old spam account into this - @ChagosDeal. That being said, it's a good idea nonetheless. Follow it & share the posts - I want to highlight how ridiculous this all is.

The cost of the Chagos ‘deal’ is equal to over 89% of Mauritius’ entire GDP.
