What does breaking the fourth wall mean? The ‘fourth wall’ is a sort of invisible barrier between us (the audience) and the world of a play, film, or TV show. In a theatre setting, the stage has three actual walls, and the audience watches through the ‘fourth wall’. For that to be broken, a character has to directly address the audience, which is an acknowledgment that they’re there.

What is a prop, why does it matter? Prop, is actually and means any movable object used on a set (film or theatre) to support the story or for characterisation. If you think about useful props, like a cup or a chair for example, they serve a function but don’t necessarily contribute to the story. Some props though, are loaded with symbolic or narrative weight! There are some props that are even extensions of a character, like some of the gadgets belonging to James Bond.

A time loop is when the characters (or a universe) repeats the same period of time, sometimes quite often. There are usually conditions needed to start the loop again, like a character dies for example. Or the day comes to an end and starts again.
