    Pakistan's Privatisation Commission has extended the deadline for prospective buyers of PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (PK, Islamabad International) to lodge their expressions of interest (EOIs). The 15-day extension to the original June 3 deadline means interested parties now have a June 19 cutoff date. A Privatisation Commission spokesperson told the Geo News digital newspaper that the delay was due to the Eid al-Adha festivities but said all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

    Elon Musk says this week’s Starship launch was a big improvement over the previous eight launches despite the spacecraft breaking up less than one hour into the flight. “Starship made it to the scheduled ship engine cutoff, so big improvement over last flight! Also, no significant loss of heat shield tiles during ascent,” he posted on X. “Leaks caused loss of main tank pressure during the coast and re-entry phase. Lots of good data to review.

    SpiceJet (SG, Delhi International) has secured a legal victory after the Delhi High Court dismissed an appeal by former backer Kalanithi Maran and his investment vehicle KAL Airways, in which he sought damages of INR13.23 billion rupees (USD155 million). Court records show the matter was disposed of on May 23. The dispute stems back to a 2015 share transfer between Maran and the current SpiceJet promoter and majority shareholder, Ajay Singh.
