I have seen several Presidential elections but nothing quite as ridiculous as the 2024 Presidential election. The contestants lie, but Trump and his running mate have gone overboard. Anyone who can vote for this pair is just as bad as they are. From accusing people of eating pets to staging shootings. Is there no shame and length they will go to win an election? I pity the people following this Hitler want-to-be.

Recently I observed a message from Donald Trump stating that he was comparing himself to Nelson Mandela. That is one of the worst lies he could have told. Nelson Mandela was a man who stood for equality, justice and freedom for mankind — quite the opposite of what Trump spewed. I believe that Mandela would be offended that Trump would use his name to characterize the position that he is in.

Just when the worst Mississippians have played their trump card, this incident comes up. Being a person of sane mind and some type of intelligence, this has to come across as one of the most ridiculous events that could occur even for that select group. For a 10-year-old child, HATE is one thing, but this will rank above that. I hope the individuals involved in the persecution of this child are proud of themselves. Matter of fact, their lives are a mistake to society.

This is regarding The Commercial Dispatch’s Wednesday headline about Pierre Beard. It’s amazing how quickly these people are presumed guilty before a trial. I do not condone any crime, but what I do condone is the presumption of innocence. Am I guilty of a crime for merely associating with a person who has been arrested? If so, turn out the lights, for sure a number of us are guilty. All of the personnel who surround Donald Trump are guilty.
