When looking at a house, garage, store building or factory, or any of the other thousands of structures we live, work, and play in, look for the simple shapes. Look at the front of a house, and you will see many examples of rectangles, squares, triangles, right angles, perpendicular lines, parallel lines, along with a few other shapes like circles. They are there. This is not meant to be a Geometry lesson, but it is meant to demonstrate the commonality of mathematics in our everyday life.
