Renewables distributor Segen has signed a three-year deal which will see it widening its partnership with AI-powered logistics specialist POSTX to deliver products to customers using electric vehicles. Segen customers in the south east have been able to request the zero emissions option and the deal will see a national rollout in 2025. It follows the success of a trial with E.ON which cut CO2 emissions by 3.1t and improved delivery efficiency by 1400%, the partners said.

Key to the success was the elimination of plant downtime and its impact on the production.
